There is some relief news about the health of Indian-origin novelist and world-renowned author Salman Rushdie. According to the latest information, Rushdie has been removed from the ventilator and is currently able to talk.
Let us tell you that on Friday at an event held in New York, US, Rushdie was seriously injured by a 24-year-old man with a knife several times. In this attack, the nerves of his hand were torn, the liver was damaged.

Media reports have claimed that the attacker is from New Jersey, but police are trying to find an answer as to why the attacker so brutally attacked Rushdie.

UN chief ‘shocked’ by this attack:
The world body’s Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed concern over the attack on author Salman Rushdie, saying that violence in response to words spoken or written while exercising the freedom of expression and freedom of expression is not justified in any way. He said, I am ‘shocked’ by the incident.
