New research has emerged about the origin of the Moon. For the first time, scientists have found solid evidence that the helium and neon-like gases present in the Moon have been found from one of the five layers of the Earth’s mantle.
The discovery, published in the journal Science Advances, further strengthens the theory, which states that the origin of the Moon was due to the collision of Earth and other celestial bodies.
Through this study, it can also help to find answers to those complex questions, which can reveal how the Earth, Moon and other celestial bodies originated. Mantle gas is located inside the Earth for about 2,890 km.
