Justice NV Ramana will deliver judgments in five high-profile cases today, on his last day as the Chief Justice of India. Late on Thursday, the Supreme Court Registry updated the cause list of the court.
The list, which was released around 11.30 pm, includes five major judgments to be pronounced by the Chief Justice. Following is the list of five cases in which a bench of Chief Justice of India NV Ramana, Justice Hima Kohli and Justice CT Ravikumar will pronounce its verdict on Friday morning.

Successfully appointed 224 judges during his tenure:
During the tenure of Chief Justice Ramana, the Supreme Court Collegium successfully appointed about 224 judges to several High Courts and approved almost all the names belonging to the Delhi High Court.
Justice Ramana said he raised issues related to the appointment and infrastructure of judges during his tenure and expressed hope that he would live up to the expectations of the legal fraternity.
