Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Jammu today. He will honor the families of two thousand martyrs in a program at the Police Stadium Gulshan Ground. Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabole of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will also attend the program with him.
The work of preparing the stage, setting up tents continued throughout the day for the program. Chairs have been set up here to seat 10,000 people. If there is heavy rain on Sunday, then as an alternative arrangement, a program will be organized in the auditorium of Gulshan Ground.
Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh will also be present in the function being organized by the RSS affiliated organization Jammu and Kashmir People’s Forum to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas and 75 years of independence.
Forum President Ramesh Chandra Sabharwal said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest at the event. Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabole of RSS will be the keynote speaker. He will honor the families of the martyrs by giving shawls and mementos.
For this, about two thousand families have been invited. The program will remember the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers of the army, paramilitary forces and other security forces including the Jammu and Kashmir Police while guarding the country’s interior and border since 1947.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will also discuss the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir after meeting with the BJP state president and other senior leaders after the program. However, Rajnath Singh will leave for New Delhi in the afternoon.
At the same time, Dattatreya Hosabale will stay in Jammu for a few days, besides reviewing the activities of the Sangh, will hold meetings with the office bearers of BJP and other organizations.
