SRH vs CSK Analysis:
A South Indian rivalry between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Chennai Super Kings will be rekindled as they take on each other in this next match of IPL 2022. SRH managed to win five consecutive matches and would have thought the sixth one was in the bag as well but Gujarat Titans had other ideas. CSK is languishing second from the bottom and does not seem to have much of a chance to make it to the IPL playoffs this season.
The big news is that MS Dhoni is back as captain for CSK from this match on. Is that going to bring around the change in fortunes that they are looking for?
Despite the contrasting form of both teams, SRH and CSK are currently being offered for the same odds by IPL betting websites in India and around the world.

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The conditions in Pune are expected to be good weather-wise. It has become quite hot and that will affect the pitch as well. So far, Pune has been offering up green surfaces with a nice amount of bounce and pace. The underlying surface is quite spin-friendly, though, and that could come to the fore if the groundsman does not water the surface enough.
We expect the scores to start to go down a bit and come into the 160-170 range.

SRH has been in brilliant form off late and is really scripting one of the most amazing IPL seasons the franchise has had in a long time. Five wins in its previous six matches prove that their good form is not just fleeting but is here to stay. In fact with 22 to defend off the last over, SRH would have believed it would win the previous match as well.
However, these things happen in T20 cricket and we don’t think there is a need for the team to panic. We don’t expect any changes in the lineup for this match. The batting has been well served by Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, and Aiden Markram with some useful cameos from Pooran, Williamson, and even Washington Sundar.
It was interesting to see Shashank Singh take the IPL by storm as he smashed 25 runs from just six deliveries in his debut match!
The batting is steady and while you can expect more from Williamson and Pooran, there are enough players in good form to get the job done on most days.
We would stick with Aiden Markram to score runs in this match and exploring his Over/Under betting market seems to be a good idea.
The bowling for SRH has been exceptional. Umran Malik has taken the world by storm and is currently smashing speed records, picking wickets, and improving rapidly with each match. He can be expensive on some days but there is no doubt his pace is going to be tough to deal with.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Marco Jansen, Washington Sundar, and T Natarajan round out a very strong bowling lineup.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK):
CSK is up against a real challenge in this match as it gets ready to face SRH. We think CSK’s team does not match up well at all against SRH and could struggle massively. CSK lost by 8 wickets when they met last and things have not improved dramatically for the team since then.
Ruturaj Gaikwad continues to struggle for runs at the top and Robin Uthappa is also going through a quiet patch. That puts a lot of pressure on the likes of Shivam Dube, Ambati Rayadu, and the all-rounders. Mitch Santner, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, and Dwayne Pretorius can all bat but they are not what you would call proven match-winners in this format of the game.
MS Dhoni is the one player that seems to have turned back the clock and is clobbering balls during the death overs but there is no doubt he is beyond his best as a player.
CSK’s batting is underwhelming and we are going to stay away from betting on it.
That brings us to the bowling lineup. Now that the wickets have started to slow up a little, CSK is using as many spinners as it can in its lineup. Theekshana, Santner, and Jadeja played the previous match and it will be interesting to see if that combination remains the same now that a change of captaincy has been effected.
Mukesh Choudhary is leading the bowling attack for CSK at the moment. This is not a bad thing but it kind of highlights the problems that CSK has on its plate at the moment.
