Maharashtra Gondia Train Accident: In Gondia, Maharashtra, 50 passengers have been injured in a collision between a passenger train and a goods train at 2.30 pm on Tuesday. In this accident, three bogies of the passenger train derailed. The injured have been sent to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Passenger train was going from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh to Jodhpur in Rajasthan:
News agency ANI quoted the railways as saying that this accident happened due to the arrival of both the trains on the same track. After getting the green signal, the Bilaspur-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express passenger train had overtaken.
As soon as Gondia reached, the goods train coming from behind hit her. It is being told that the accident happened due to lack of proper signal from the technician’s side. More than 50 passengers have been injured and 13 have minor injuries.
