The Income Tax Department raided the premises of a steel, textile trader and real estate developer in Maharashtra’s Jalna from August 1-8. During this period, unknown assets worth about Rs 100 crore were seized – including Rs 56 crore in cash, 32 kg of gold, pearls-diamonds and property papers. It took 13 hours to count the seized cash.
