0 FIFA World Cup 2022: FIFA has sold 24.5 million tickets for the World Cup so far, the tournament is to be held in Qatar after 3 months

FIFA is busy preparing for this year’s Football World Cup in Qatar. FIFA has said that it has sold 24.5 million tickets for this tournament so far. It includes fans from all over the world. There is less than 100 days left in the FIFA World Cup.

This is the first FIFA World Cup to be held in the Middle East and Arab countries. The tournament will start from November 20. The craze of FIFA World Cup is such that fans from all over the world come to see it. Even in India, there is a different craze about this tournament.

FIFA said in a statement posted on its official website – There are less than 100 days left for the start of The Greatest Show on Earth. A total of 2.45 million tickets have been sold. The largest number of tickets have been purchased by fans from Qatar, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, France, Argentina, Brazil and Germany.

From 5 July to 16 August, a total of 5,20,532 tickets were sold during the first round of ticket sales. The highest demand for tickets sold during this period was for group stage matches like Cameroon-Brazil, Brazil-Serbia, Portugal-Uruguay, Costa Rica-Germany and Australia-Denmark.

Dates for the next round of ticket sales will be announced in September. The final of the FIFA World Cup will be played on 18 December. In the World Cup to be held in Qatar in November-December this year, 32 teams are participating, which are divided into four groups of eight. Lionel Messi’s Argentina has been placed in Group-C and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal team has been placed in Group-H last.
