Amidst the Amarnath Yatra, a terrorist incident has come to the fore in Bijbihara of Anantnag district of South Kashmir. The terrorists opened fire targeting the police party on Sunday. A policeman was seriously injured in this.
The police officer said that the terrorists opened fire on the constable in Bijbihara. He has been taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. The soldier has been shot in the leg. Doctors have declared his condition stable.
The officer has identified the policeman as Firdous Ahmed. Told that the entire area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Mortar shell found in Pargwal:
A mortar shell was found on Sunday in the border area of Pargwal. It is being told that this shell must have fallen in the shelling done by Pakistan, which did not explode. According to the information, the mortar shell was found in village Chhani Tana when the farmer was working in his field. He immediately informed the Border Security Force about this. Border Security Force personnel took him into custody.
