The names of the last two candidates in the race for the new Prime Minister of Britain have been decided. Indian-origin Rishi Sunak and Foreign Minister Liz Truss have made it to the final round. Taking the lead from the start, Rishi Sunak was also at the forefront in the fifth and final round. In Wednesday’s fifth round of voting, Sunak got a total of 137 votes, while Liz Truss secured 113 votes. Penny Mordent dropped out of the race with 105 votes.
