0 Bhupinder Singh: Legendary singer Bhupinder Singh merges in Panchtatva

A sad news has come out from the entertainment world on Monday night. Veteran playback singer Bhupinder Singh has passed away in Mumbai. His wife and singer Mitali Singh informed about the demise of the great singer. Bhupinder Singh is known for his heavy voice. He lent his voice to many Bollywood songs.

Giving information about the singer’s demise on Monday evening, his wife Mithali said that “he was suffering from several health issues for some time”. Information has come to the fore that the singer’s last rites have been performed at night in the presence of close people, according to the information, this decision was taken due to Corona.

The singer breathed his last at the age of 82. According to the information revealed, music director Uttam Singh told that the last rites of Bhupinder will be performed tomorrow morning at 11.30 am at Oshiwara crematorium. Bhupinder Singh is known for many of his famous songs in Bollywood. He lent his voice to songs from movies like “Mausam”, “Satte Pe Satta”, “Ahista Ahista”, “Doorian”, “Haqeeqat” and many more.

Talking about some of his famous songs, songs like “Hoke Majboor Mujhe, Uske Bula Hoga”, “Dil Dhundta Hai”, “Duki Pe Duki Ho Ya Satte Pe Satta” are still in the mouth of the people. Bhupinder Singh was a famous Indian musician and primarily a Ghazal singer. He learned to play the guitar from his father as a child. After coming to Delhi, he worked as a singer and guitarist for All India Radio. Music composer Madan Mohan gave him his first big break in 1964.

Bhupendra Singh was born on 6 February 1940 in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Professor Natha Singh was also a great musician. He gained popularity with the song ‘Woh Jo Shahar Tha’ written by Gulzar in a film released in 1978. Bhupendra married Bengali singer Mithali Mukherjee in 1980. However, the two do not have any children. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has condoled the death of the singer.
