Former Congress leader Hardik Patel will join Bharatiya Janata Party at 11 am today. He himself has given this information by tweeting. Hardik tweeted that with the feelings of national interest, state interest, public interest and social interest, I am going to start a new chapter from today. I will work as a small soldier in the noble work of service to the nation under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Bhai Modi.
Resigned from Congress on May 18-
Let us tell you that Hardik Patel had resigned from the Congress party on 18 May. His move before the elections is a big setback for the Congress. Before leaving the Congress, Hardik wrote a letter to party chief Sonia Gandhi. In this letter, he had spoken fiercely about the policy of the Congress party.
Congress was fiercely targeted in the resignation letter-
In his resignation letter, Hardik had written that the Congress party has been reduced to the politics of protest only, while the people of the country do not want opposition but an alternative that thinks about their future and has the capacity to take our country forward.
He further wrote in his resignation letter that whether it is the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the issue of CAA-NRC, the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir or the implementation of GST, the country wanted a solution to them for a long time. But, Congress continued to act only as a hindrance in this. The stand of the Congress was limited to only opposing the Centre.
