Already confident of winning the series, the Indian women’s tricket team will look to clean sweep the series by defeating hosts Sri Lanka in the third and final T20 International here on Monday.
Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian women’s team took a 2-0 lead in the three-match series after thrashing the home team by 34 runs in the first T20I with a five-wicket win in the second match. These victories will boost India’s morale ahead of next month’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
This time women’s T20 cricket is debuting at the Commonwealth Games. The bowlers have done well in both the matches so far but the Indian batting needs a lot of improvement. Apart from this, India’s fielding was also not up to the mark.
