0 IND vs SA T20Is Series: South African team reached Delhi, first match from June 9

The South African team has reached India for the five-match T20 series. The series between the two teams will start from June 9. The first match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

The South African team reached Delhi on Thursday morning. IPL participants Quinton de Kock, David Miller and Kagiso Rabada were already present in India and will now join the team for this series. Temba Bavuma is leading the South African team.

For the T20 series against India, the South African team has given a chance to many young faces. It also includes Tristian Stubbs. Stubbs was included in the IPL by Mumbai Indians as a replacement in their squad.

However, Stubbs could not leave much of an impression with his performance. He scored just two runs in two matches. In such a situation, now his eyes will be on doing better in the T20 series against India. At the same time, Enrique Nortje has also returned to the team. He was battling an injury for a long time.

The Indian team would also like to take revenge on South Africa. In January this year, under the leadership of KL Rahul, Team India had to face a 3-0 defeat in the three-match ODI series on the tour of South Africa. Now Team India would like to clean sweep South Africa in the five-match T20 series.

The Indian team also has a chance to make a world record. Team India has won the last 12 T20Is. If India beat South Africa in the first T20, then the team’s name will be the record of winning most T20 matches in a row. India have made a clean sweep of the opposition teams in the last three T20I series at home. Apart from India, Afghanistan and Romania have also won 12 T20s in a row.
