Jonny Bairstow completed his century in the second innings against New Zealand in just 77 balls and he also became the second fastest batsman to score a century in Test cricket for England. The record for England’s fastest century in Test cricket is recorded in the name of Joseph, who did this feat in 76 balls against Australia in 1902.
