Portugal’s star striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s magic reappeared on the football field when scoring a goal against Brentford to help Manchester United win 3-0.
Bruno Fernandes and Rafael Varane scored the other two goals in the match. Thanks to this goal, Ronaldo has a total of 18 goals in the English Premier League (EPL). Manchester’s chances of breaking into the top four are still alive thanks to his brilliant game.
At present, the team is currently ranked sixth in the table and has two matches left. They are five points behind fourth-placed Arsenal and three points behind Tottenham. Now both these teams have to play 4-4 matches.
3rd place in terms of goals:
Ronaldo has scored consecutive goals in his last four matches. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah (22) has scored the most goals in the league, while Tottenham’s Sun Hyung Min (19) is second and Ronaldo third. United fans stood up to greet during the match in the presence of veteran players Nemanja Matic and Juana Mata.
Ronaldo dominated the field:
From the very beginning of the match, Manchester players started putting pressure on Brentford. The result also showed when Bruno Fernandes converted a pass from Anthony in the 9th minute. After this, Manchester maintained a 1-0 lead till the first half.

Ronaldo, 37, said he was not finished after his win over Brentford. So far he has scored 24 goals in 37 matches this season. Ronaldo told the spectators during a tour of the field that he was ready to play more matches on the question being raised about his future at United.
Why shouldn’t Rangnik Bol-Ronaldo be on the team?
Interim chief Rolf Ragnik was asked whether Ronaldo would stay with the club when he turns 38 next year. To this Rolf said that he has a one-year contract with the club and will continue to join next season. Why not keep Ronaldo in the team, when he helps the team to win.
Ragnik told future head coach Erik ten Hogg that the 37-year-old should keep Ronaldo in the team. Manchester are looking to add two new strikers this summer. Rangnik was inducted as interim chief in November last year.
