There is no threat of rain and the dew also seems to be a bit lighter at the Brabourne Stadium than at other venues. This is going to be the second match on consecutive days, though, and so we could see spin play a bigger part than normal.
The average score batting first so far has been just over 174 and we think you could get something around that region or maybe a bit lower in this match.

Gujarat Titans (GT):
The Gujarat Titans suffered only their second loss in the previous match against PBKS as captain Hardik Pandya made the slightly strange decision of choosing to bat first after winning the toss. Once again. GT struggled with its batting as Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya failed to get going.
These two are the mainstays of the GT batting lineup and for both of them to lose form at the same time should send alarm bells ringing. Wriddhiman Saha got the side off to a quick start but he is not someone you expect to get the big scores. He tends to throw away his wicket after getting set.
It was David Miller who was bailing the side out game after game with support from Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan. When these players failed, it was only Sai Sudharshan who managed to get the side to some sort of a defensible total.
In the end, though, GT was short by at least 30 runs. Despite GT winning most of its matches, we are a bit unsure about their batting and think another such batting performance may be in store. Maybe they could drop Alzarri Joseph and include another batsman to improve the balance of the side but that will put pressure on Pandya to bowl.
Lockie Ferguson, Rashid Khan, and Mohammad Shami are locked in the bowling lineup. However, we do think Pradeep Sangwan and Alzarri Joseph are in trouble of losing their spot quite quickly.
GT has won five matches in the last over including two of the very last ball. It just needs a little bit of luck to change and we could see GT rack up a few losses on the trot.

Mumbai Indians (MI):
MI finally played a lineup that seemed to be its strongest. They brought back Tim David in the side and he scored a crucial 20 from 9 deliveries to close out the match. With Kieron Pollard, Tim David, and Daniel Sams in the lineup, MI now has a batting lineup that is filled with power from top to bottom.
of course, we still have not seen the best of Rohit Sharma or Ishan Kishan at the top but they will have the freedom to play their shots. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma in the middle are currently the backbone of this MI lineup.
We would pick between one of these two to be the top batsman for MI in this match.
MI’s bowling has seemed particularly vulnerable in this series and we still think that problem has not been completely resolved. Its two spinners of choice, Hrithik Shokeen and Kumar Kartikeya, are strictly average. They could struggle if one of Hardik Pandya or David Miller or even Rahul Tewatia gets stuck into them.
The onus to pick up wickets has to fall on the fast bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah, Rilee Meredith, and Daniel Sams are all international players with a lot of experience. Bumrah has been economical but the wickets are not coming and so MI has struggled in that aspect as well.
Luckily for MI, it is coming up against a batting lineup that has its own struggles in terms of form and depth. We could see an improved performance from the MI bowlers
