MNS chief Raj Thackeray held a press conference amid loudspeaker controversy and fears of arrest. He said, notices have been issued to MNS workers at many places, they have been detained. I have been receiving calls from many places since morning.
The MNS chief said, “Nothing is being said to those who are not following the law.” Those who are trying to enforce the law are being detained.

Raj Thackeray said, many people have understood my point. In many mosques there is no azaan through loudspeakers. Thanks to the mosques which have understood my point.
He said that in Maharashtra, about 90 percent of the mosques have not heard azaan through loudspeakers. However, he again said that those who would not listen to us, Hanuman Chalisa would be recited there. He said, it is not a religious issue, it is a social issue.
