The Rajasthan Royals are going to be pleased at having SHimron Hetmyer available for selection once more and he could immediately make his way back into the lineup in place of Jimmy Neesham.
Hetmyer has been the best death overs batsman in IPL 2022 with 230 runs to his name in the last five overs at a strike rate of 201.
His presence will only add to a batting lineup that is firing on all cylinders. Jos Buttler is having the second-best IPL batting season of all time, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal have improved their games remarkably, and Sanju Samson is in fine form as well.
No team has hit more sixes than RR (112 so far) and the use of intelligent T20 tactics by Sanju Samson must also get a mention.
The bowling attack looks very well balanced with Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, R Ashwin, and Prasidha Krishna. The fifth bowler could be Obed McCoy, another superb T20 bowler that becomes more effective in slow conditions.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK):
CSK has endured a terrible season with just four wins in thirteen matches. This is the worst season for CSK in IPL history. It can be hard to find things that go right in such seasons and that is the case with CSK as well.
The team has been trying to make changes and get its act together but nothing seemed to work.
From a betting point of view, betting on CSK is tricky because the team is going to be making some changes to its playing eleven (in all likelihood). N Jagadeesan, Prashant Solanki, and Matheesha Pathirana played the previous match and are all likely to feature once more.
No disrespect to any of these players but they are still finding their feet at this level. CSK is up against one of the strongest teams in IPL 2022 and these youngsters are going to find it tough to cope.
Also, the fact that Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, and Meen Ali have been very inconsistent has also hurt CSK.
We worry about the batting effort if CSK loses a couple of early wickets and the bowling looks to be extremely weak as well. You can never count out individual brilliance, especially when every team is filled with international superstars, but CSK’s team just does not compare with RR at the moment.
