Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (NMP) is important to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making India a $5 trillion economy by 2024-25.
Explain that the objective of PM Gati Shakti Yojana is to improve multi-modal connectivity and last-mile connectivity across the country. Speaking at an event organized on the occasion of 15th Civil Services Day, Gadkari said there is a need for coordination and communication between various stakeholders to complete the infrastructure projects.

“We have to make the Indian economy strong. PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan is very important to realize the Prime Minister’s dream of making India a 5 trillion dollar economy.”
Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said,
Let us tell you that in 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had envisioned to make India a $5 trillion economy and a global economic superpower by 2024-25.
Nitin Gadkari also said that financial audits are important but performance audits are more important. The Minister said that there is a need to bring down the cost of construction without compromising on the quality. In the program, Road Transport and Highways Secretary Giridhar Armane said that one of the objectives of PM Gati Shakti is to provide connectivity to 860 economic nodes in the country.
What is PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan?
Prime Minister has launched PM Gati Shakti – National Master Plan for Multi-Modal Connectivity. It essentially entails bringing together 16 ministries including railways and roadways for integrated planning and coordinated implementation of infrastructure connectivity projects. Through this, the focus is to accelerate the work at the grassroots level, reduce costs and increase and create jobs.
