An Indian organization in America has given its support to Rishi Sunak of Indian origin, who is in the race for the post of Prime Minister of Britain. The last two candidates in the race to elect the new leader of the Conservative Party in Britain debated proposals to tackle inflation in the country a day earlier.
The new leader of the Conservative Party will also take over as Britain’s prime minister early next month. If he wins this election, Sunak can become Britain’s first Prime Minister of Indian origin. The Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) said it supports Sunak as the next prime minister of the UK, as he respects his values and principles.
“We are supporting Sunak not only because he is a Hindu, but also because Sunak, like the Republican Hindu Coalition, fully respects our core values and founding principles, which include a government with limited powers,” he said. with free enterprise, fiscal discipline, family values and a firm foreign policy.
