0 Russia Ukraine War: India worried about war near Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Plant, said- sit and resolve dispute

The whole world is troubled by the war between Russia and Ukraine. The world is facing the threat of a food crisis, meanwhile the firing on the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant between the two countries has also created a threat of nuclear disaster.

India has expressed concern over this. India’s Ambassador to the United Nations Security Council Ruchira Kamboj said, India is concerned about the situation in Ukraine. Since the start of the conflict, India has consistently appealed for an end to the violence. “We support all diplomatic efforts to end the conflict,” he said.

Ruchira Kamboj said, India is monitoring the activities happening near Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. Any incident near a nuclear power plant can be serious for public health and the environment, he said. Kamboj also welcomed Secretary General Satar’s initiative to open up grain exports from Ukraine. “These efforts show that differences can be resolved through dialogue,” he said.

Nuclear power plant destruction news:

Actually, there have been reports of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant being badly damaged. It has been claimed by quoting satellite photos that during the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, there have been tremendous attacks near this plant. A part of the plant has been destroyed by this. Both Russia and Ukraine have blamed each other for these attacks.

Firing on six reactors:

Ukraine’s nuclear agency Energoatom said that Russia recently opened fire near the plant’s six reactors. Due to this, heavy smoke enveloped the entire plant and some radiation sensors were also damaged. Currently, this Ukrainian plant is in the possession of Russia and Ukraine is trying hard to get it back. Ukraine alleges that Moscow is working to store hundreds of its soldiers and weapons at this plant.
