Police has taken major action in Grand Omaxe Society located in Sector-93B. Sujit Upadhyay, in-charge of Phase 2 of Police Station has been suspended for negligence. Noida Police Commissioner Alok Singh said that in the investigation it has been found that Sujit Upadhyay was negligent in this matter. Earlier, seven people were arrested who had entered the Omaxe Society. He is being questioned and search is on for the main accused Shrikant Tyagi.
At the same time, on Sunday night, 12 goons of alleged BJP leader Shrikant Tyagi entered the society and started threatening the woman who had lodged a case of indecency and molestation. When the people of the society gathered on hearing the noise, the goons misbehaved with them and beat them up.

On getting information about the uproar, Police Commissioner Alok Singh, Joint Commissioner of Police Luv Kumar and District Magistrate Suhas reached the LY Society and tried to convince the people. The commissioner said that action would be taken against Srikanth under the Gangster Act and illegal properties would be confiscated. The reward will also be announced in a day or two.
