The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted raids at several places in Rajasthan in connection with the Kanhaiyalal murder case of Udaipur. According to the information, the NIA raided nine places in Udaipur district. During the raid, other incriminating material including mobile phones, laptops and SIM cards were recovered from the accused and suspects in the case. The investigation in the matter is still on.
Let us inform that an FIR was registered in this matter on 29th June at Dhanmandi police station in Udaipur. The number of FIR registered in this case is 81/2022. After this, the NIA had registered a separate case on June 29 itself and took over the investigation of the case.
NIA again sought the remand of the accused:
All the seven accused in Udaipur’s Kanhaiyalal murder case were presented in the NIA court in Jaipur on Tuesday. The NIA offered to remand all the accused present in the court. The NIA has told the court that many important revelations have been made in the interrogation of the accused. In such a situation, there is a need for further interrogation of the accused from them. Mohsin Khan, Asif Hussain, Mohd Mohsin, Waseem and Farhad Mohd have been arrested so far in the Kanhaiyalal murder case including Mohd Riaz and Ghaus Mohammad.
The truth of 300 people associated with Dawat-e-Islami organization came to the fore:
Earlier, there were many shocking revelations in the call details of Ghaus Mohammad and Riyaz Attari, the terrorists who slit Kanhaiya’s throat. Both the terrorists were talking continuously on 18 numbers of Pakistan before killing Kanhaiya. More than 300 people from 25 states of the country are also in contact with these numbers. All of them are associated with the Dawat-e-Islami organization of Pakistan. Most of the 300 numbers that have come up in the call detail inquiry are from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bengal, Gujarat, Bihar and Kerala. In such a situation, NIA and IB have alerted all 25 states. The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has also written a letter to the central agencies to investigate the matter seriously.
Kanhaiya was murdered on June 28:
Kanhaiyalal was murdered on June 28 in Udaipur. He lived in the Bhoot Mahal area of Dhanmandi area and was a tailor by profession. Two Muslim youths reached his shop on the pretext of giving the measurement of clothes and started attacking Kanhaiya with sharp weapons. The swift attacks did not even give Kanhaiya a chance to recover. His neck was cut and he died on the spot. His colleague Ishwar Singh, who was working at the shop, was also seriously injured in the attack. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
