Mahindra has finally revealed the prices of the automatic variants and top-spec 4X4 trims of the new Scorpio-N. Mahindra Scorpio-N was launched in India last month at a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the prices of the top-spec variant now go up to Rs 23.90 lakh ex-showroom.
The new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N is offered in five trim levels – Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8 L, which come in multiple variants. Prices of the Scorpio-N start at Rs 11.99 lakh for the base-spec Z2 Petrol MT and go up to Rs 23.90 lakh for the top-spec Z8 L diesel 4WD AT variant. All these prices are ex-showroom. The company has said that these are introductory prices. That is, they can be increased in the future.

Also, the 6-seater variant will cost Rs 20,000 more. For this test drive has started across the country. Buyers wishing to buy this SUV can book it officially online or by visiting their nearest dealership from July 30. Mahindra says that the deliveries of the new Scorpio-N will begin this festive season.
Engine and Power:
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N is powered by Amstallion petrol engine that generates 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque. The second option is the mHawk diesel engine that generates 175 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and Mahindra’s 4 XPLOR 4WD system with a 6-speed torque-converter AT.

It is the first SUV in its segment to feature shift-by-cable technology. Along with this, this SUV is also the lowest CO2 emitting vehicle in its segment.

In terms of driving experience, the new Mahindra Scorpio-N gets multiple drive modes – Tarmac (Tarmac), Snow (Snow), Mud and Desert (Mud and Desert), 4Xplore Terrain Management System, choice of petrol and diesel engines. The SUV is built on a third-generation body on a frame platform, which gives it great strength and provides high-speed stability along with off-roading capability.

Mahindra has taken AdrenoX technology from Bosch and it offers over 60 connected features with access on both smartphone and smartwatch through AdrenoX connectivity application. To entertain the passengers, the new Scorpio N gets Sony’s 12-speaker system with 3D sound staging.
It comes with a large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by AdrenoX, which we have already seen on the new XUV700. It also supports Alexa connectivity along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
It gets a semi-digital instrument console, dual-zone climate control, air vents for all 3-rows, wireless charger, cruise control and many more. The SUV will not have ADAS features, which are given in the XUV700. It will also get front-facing third row seats instead of the side-facing bench seats in the current model.
Will work on voice command:
Other features include remote engine start, temperature control using AndrenoX connect. Mahindra claims that the Scorpio-N is the world’s first SUV to get an Alexa-powered What3Words navigation system that works on voice commands.
Safety Features:
The new Mahindra Scorpio N will be equipped with many safety features. Its feature list includes ABS with EBD, multiple airbags, 360-degree cameras, traction control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill descent control and other features.
