On the eighth International Yoga Day, more than 250 million people around the world will do yoga together. This year’s theme is ‘Yoga for Humanity’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Yogasan at Mysuru Palace on Tuesday morning. About 15 thousand people will be present in the program with him. PM will appeal to people to adopt yoga for a healthy lifestyle by doing 19 yogasanas. The Prime Minister will then have breakfast with the royal family of Mysuru. The PM reached Bangalore on Monday on his two-day visit to Karnataka. On the other hand, there will also be a big yoga program at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat. Here Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will preside over the program.
Programs in more than 79 countries:
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Yoga Day will be celebrated across the world including India on 21st June. So far they have information about programs in more than 79 countries. Yoga programs will be held at various places in India. It also includes many organizations and institutions including Patanjali, Art of Living. The ministry said that a campaign is being run on social media to bring awareness about yoga among the people. In this, the competition of taking selfies while doing yoga and uploading it on the website of the ministry is the most important.
According to the ministry, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform yoga in the royal palace complex. Preparations have been completed in the palace premises regarding this program. School children, people associated with social service organizations will also be involved with PM Modi. The Yoga Day will begin with a one-minute prayer. After this there will be stretching etc. for four minutes. After this 19 asanas will be done. Narendra Modi will participate in the program of Yoga Day from 7 am to 7.45 am. The program will start at 6.30 am. The program will be addressed by the Prime Minister, AYUSH Minister and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

On Monday, PM Modi appealed to the countrymen to make International Yoga Day a success. He said in a tweet, June 21 will be celebrated as International Yoga Day. The PM’s yoga program is also part of the ‘Guardian Yoga Ring’, a collaborative exercise between 79 countries and UN organizations as well as Indian missions abroad. Just as the Sun moves across the globe on its path from east to west, so the participating countries on Yoga Day will appear in a sequence like the Earth and the Sun. Where the sun will rise first, the yoga day will be celebrated first. As soon as the sun starts appearing in other countries, in the same way yoga programs will start there.
75,000 on BJP Yoga Day will organize events at places:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organize yoga camps at 75,000 places across the country on Tuesday to mark the 8th International Day of Yoga. The prime minister will attend a yoga event in Mysuru, in which 15,000 people are expected to participate. At the same time, BJP President JP Nadda in Noida and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi will attend the program.
Party ruled elsewhere in the country
The Chief Ministers of the states and all their office bearers will participate in these programs and will practice yoga. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi gave this information on Monday.
