Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will be arrested after his three-week transit bail expires. This is to say of Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. In a statement, he said that Imran Khan would be arrested only by the security officers posted outside his residence. Just waiting for the bail to expire.
The Peshawar High Court on June 2 granted transit bail to Imran Khan for three weeks on a surety of Rs. Imran Khan has been charged with more than two dozen cases, including rioting, sedition, anarchy and armed attacks.
Minister Sanaullah said security officials posted outside Imran Khan’s Bani Gala residence would arrest him after the expiry of his protective bail granted by the court.
Sanaullah questioned how one can become the head of a political party in a democratic society. Who instigates people and completely disregards moral and democratic values by calling his opponents anti-nationals. He said that he welcomes Imran Khan on his return to Islamabad. At the same time, they are being provided security as per the law.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Police has beefed up security around his residence in Bani Gala in view of the possibility of Imran Khan’s return to Islamabad from Peshawar. Also a high alert has been declared in the area.
Significantly, Imran Khan is in the headlines even before the Shahbaz government came to power in Pakistan. Currently, Imran Khan remains the focal point in Pakistan’s politics. Now questions are being raised about his security in Pakistan.
Rumors are spreading rapidly in Pakistan that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill Imran Khan. Due to which the hands and feet of the Slamabad police have swelled.
