0 IIFA 2022 Winners: Zubin and Asees got the title of Best Playback Singer

With the inauguration of the 22nd edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), the winners have started receiving awards. Everyone is waiting for the main event of IIFA to be held for three days. Awarded from Best Playback Singer Male to Best Lyrics. Let’s see who won in which category.

Zubin’s name for Best Playback Singer Male:

Dr. Namjoshi and actress Lara Dutta arrived from Criticare Hospital to give the Best Playback Singer award on the stage of IIFA. Both announced the winner and Jubin Nautiyal won the award for Ratan Lambiya (Sher Shah). Singer has dedicated this award to his parents.

After the award for Best Singer and Best Music Director came the award for Best Lyrics. Pankaj Tripathi and Sanya Malhotra reached the stage to present this award and presented the award for Best Lyrics to Kausar Munir for the song ‘Lehra Do’ from the film ’83’.

Best Debut Male and Female Award:

After giving the award related to Bollywood music, now it is the turn of the Best Debut Male Award. The award was won by Ahan Shetty for the film Tadap. Vicky Kaushal and Anees Bazmee reached the stage to give the Best Story (Adapted) award. This year’s Best Story (Adapted) IIFA Award was won by Kabir Khan and Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan for the film 83.

Anurag’s name for Best Story Origin:

This year’s IIFA Best Story (Original) title was won by Anurag Basu for his film Ludo. Sportsbuzz.com chairman Nitish Dhawan and actor Shahid Kapoor reached the stage to present this award to him.

Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Male) Award was won by Pankaj Tripathi for the film Ludo. Kriti Sanon and Narendra Kesar came on the stage of IIFA to present this award.

Jeeva (83), Pankaj Tripathi (Ludo & 83), Saif Ali Khan (Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior) and Kumud Mishra (Slap) were nominated in this category.

Supporting Role (Female) title in the name of Sai

Actress Sai Tamhankar won the title of Performance in a Supporting Role (Female) in the film Mimi. Actress Genelia Deshmukh, actors Arjun Rampal and Harsh Jain came on stage to present the award.

These were nominated:

Gauahar Khan (14 rounds), Radhika Madan (English medium), Lara Dutta (bell bottom), Shalini Vats (Ludo) and Sai Tamhankar (mm) were nominated in this category.

Vicky Kaushal wins Best Actor:

Vicky Kaushal won the Best Actor Award for IIFA 2022. He received this award for his performance in the film Sardar Udham. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia came on stage to give this award. Vicky Kaushal dedicated the award to late actor Irrfan Khan, who was originally supposed to do the film Sardar Udham.

This award was named after the film Sher Shah. This movie was produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah, Himanshu Gandhi.

Best Direction Category:

This award was given to Vishnuvardhan (Sher Shah).
