Where will we go after four years?: Students
The protesters say that the recruitment should be done as before, the Tour of Duty (TOD) should be withdrawn and the examination should be conducted as before. No one will join the army for just 4 years. On the other hand, another protester protesting in Jehanabad said that where will we go after working for only 4 years? We will be homeless after 4 years of service. That’s why we have blocked the roads, the leaders of the country will now know that people are aware. Another protester said that we work hard to join the armed forces. What would 4 years of service be like with months of training and leave? How will we defend the country after just 3 years of training? The government will have to withdraw this scheme.
