Actually, the PF account of the employees working by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is opened. In this, a fixed amount is deposited every month, which is deducted from the salary of the employee and interest is also received on this money.
At the same time, many instructions are issued by EPFO from time to time. Like at present, it is necessary for all PF account holders to add a nominee to their account. Nominee can be added in this simple way:-
- Step 1: If you have not yet added a nominee to your PF account, you can do so online only. For this, you must first go to the official website of EPFO, epfindia.gov.in.
- Step 2: Now you have to go to the ‘Services’ section and here click on the option ‘For Employees’. After this, you have to login with the help of your UAN number and password.
- Step 3: Then in the ‘Manage’ option, select the ‘e-nomination’ option. Now go to the tab ‘Provide details’ in front of you and click on ‘Save’.
- Step 4: Now click on ‘Yes’ to update your family declaration. After this click on ‘Add Family Details’ and now you can add one or more nominees here. Now click on ‘Nomination Details’.
- Step 5: Then you have to click on ‘Save EPF Nomination’, now select the option ‘e-Sign’ and submit the OTP received on your registered mobile number by entering it here. By doing this your e-nomination will be completed.
