Police have killed four poachers involved in the murder of three policemen in Aaron of Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. On Saturday night, the police team, acting on the poachers, also killed the third and fourth accused. While earlier the police had killed Shahzad, the main accused in the encounter, while hunter Naushad was killed in the encounter on Saturday itself.
The four accused involved in the police encounter late Saturday night are reported to have been killed, although this has not been officially confirmed at the moment. The hunter Naushad and Shahzad also had an argument with their father regarding the matter of hunting, the father had explained to the sons that they would give a rooster feast at the wedding, do not hunt.
About 400 guests were to come to the wedding:
It is being told that Naushad was of eccentric mind. His niece’s wedding was on Saturday, about 400 guests were going to attend the wedding, he wanted to feed the blackbuck meat to the baraatis, due to which he along with his companions had planned to hunt black buck and peacock. His brother Shahzad was also involved in the planning of the hunt.
Shahzad was a good shooter, so Naushad included him in the hunting plan. Along with Bablu, who specializes in cutting meat of animals, two other accused Gulla and Vicky were also involved in this whole scheme.
Five black deer and one peacock were hunted:
All the poachers had hunted five blackbucks and a peacock from the forest on Friday. Police have recovered five blackbuck horns and a peacock carcass from the possession of the accused. The accused had hunted five deer to serve 400 people. About 20 kg of meat comes out of a deer.
Two accused arrested:
Police has arrested two accused Jiah Khan and Sonu. Both the arrested accused went on a hunt with Shehzad and Naushad. The accused have informed the police about the looted rifle being thrown in a well. According to Guna SP Rajeev Mishra, the licensed rifle of Shahzad used in the encounter has been recovered. Its license is in the name of Shahzad, the main accused in the case.
Marriages could not happen:
About 30 families live in Vidauria village of Raghogarh. Two of these families had weddings on Saturdays. The first marriage was to the niece of the hunter Naushad, in which the procession was coming from near Balonia.
At the same time, the second marriage was of Majeed Khan’s son. Majeed’s son’s wedding procession was to go to Mudhra village, but after the incident, there was silence in the village since Saturday morning. Locks were seen hanging in the homes of many people.
At the same time, the accused and family members are absconding. A large number of police are deployed in the village. In both the places, many of the guests who had already come to the weddings, have been summoned by the police. After this incident, both the marriages could not take place in the village, police have seized eight motorcycles from the spot.
New IG D Srinivas took charge:
The new IG of Gwalior range D Srinivas Verma has taken over the front. On Saturday, the CM had removed Gwalior IG Anil Sharma for his late arrival at the spot. The Madhya Pradesh government has announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore each to the families of the three martyred policemen and a government job to any one member of the family.
The state government was given a free hand to the police to take action in the matter. At the same time, the houses of the accused have also been demolished by the district administration on Saturday, taking action.
