0 Gyanvapi Case: Hearing in the matter of hurting religious sentiments today

A hearing will be held on Monday on the demand to register a case against hundreds of unidentified people, including the joint secretary of the Anjuman Insanjariya Masajid Committee, for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindu devotees by performing ‘Waju’ after the information about the Shivling found in the Gyanvapi complex.

The maintainability of the case (listable or not) will be heard in the court of Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samarthama Nagesh Verma.

Advocates Siddharth Srivastava and Gyanprakash Singh, on behalf of the plaintiff Raja Anand Jyoti Singh, have filed a suit and demanded registration of a case under CrPC 156-3 against SM Yasin, Joint Secretary of Anjuman Intejamiya Masajid Committee, one thousand unknowns including the Managing Committee.

It has been alleged that the religious sentiments of the Hindus have been hurt by washing hands, spitting and doing wudu after knowing about the presence of Shivling in Gyanvapi. The plaintiff’s side told the court that a complaint was made to the police officers in this matter, but no action was taken from their side. Let us inform here that in the hearing held on Saturday (June 4), the court has fixed June 6 as the date.

Hearing on permission for worship in Gyanvapi today:

Hearing will be held on Monday on the application of permission for worship, raga-bhog of Shri Adi Vishweshwar, filed in the court of District Judge of Swami Avimukteshwaranand, who is fasting for permission to worship in Gyanvapi.

In the suit filed by advocate Ramesh Upadhyay, a demand has been made to hear from the vacation judge due to the holiday in the district judge’s court.

The plaintiff, Swami Avimukteshwarananda, has demanded that the Raga Bhog Poojan Archan of Sri Adivishweshwara be stopped by the defendants. As a result, the raga-bhog worship of Lord Shri Adi Vishweshwar is not being done. The date of June 6 is fixed in the district judge’s court in this matter.

Shiva Karseva will be held for the demand of worship on Shivling:

Mahant of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dr. Vice Chancellor Tiwari has announced Karseva for Gyanvapi. Dr. Tiwari said that considering the Shivling found in the Gyanvapi campus as Adivishweshwar, he would perform Shiva Karseva for his immediate worship.

Shiv Karseva will start any day after 15th June. Invitation letters will be sent to the Mahants and Teerth Purohits of all the temples of Kashi to join the Karseva. The pilgrimage priests of Mirzapur and the Mahants of major temples will also be invited.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Vice Chancellor Tiwari has said that the worship service of the Shivling found in the Vazukhana of Gyanvapi Masjid should start immediately. I am going to do Shiva Kar Seva for the purpose of starting worship.

Under this karseva, there will be no congestion on the city roads. Nor shall any Shiva devotee create any hindrance in the proceedings of the court by insisting on visiting the Gyanvapi complex to offer prayers.

All Shiva devotees will perform Shiva Karseva through the waterway from Assi to Adikeshav Ghat. Dr. Tiwari has said that my aim is not to contempt the court’s order by reaching the Gyanvapi campus, but my aim is that the Shivling which has appeared after more than three and a half hundred years, its raga-bhog, worship-sringar Should start immediately.

In order to present his side, it has been decided to remove Shiva Karseva from the waterway. On any day after 15th June, Shiva devotees will go from Assi to Adikeshav Ghat in boats while reciting Shiva bhajans. This Shiv Karseva Yatra to be taken out from the waterway will end again after reaching Assi Ghat.
